Jesus's story was mostly told during the four gospels of the New Testament Bible. Jesus was born in circa 6 B.C. in Bethlehem. His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph. His ancestry can be traced back to King David of Israel. Jesus was born during the reign of Herod the Great. He tried to kill Jesus. Joseph and Mary left with Jesus to Egypt and they stayed until after Herod's death. When they came back they settled in the town of Nazareth, Galilee.
There isn't much known about Jesus's life growing up the book of Luke recounts that a twelve year old Jesus got lost while visiting a temple. He was found later while teaching the priests in the temple. There is also mentions in the New Testament implying that he worked as a carpenter in his teenage year. He then began his teachings to the Jewish people about God after being baptised by John the Baptist.
